Similarly, there will be a meeting program at Bathinda, Faridkot, Mansa, Fazilka and Sri Muktsar Sahib on December 18. He said that on December 19 at Patiala, the issues of migrant Punjabis related to Patiala, Rupnagar, SAS Nagar, Fatehgarh Sahib, Sangrur and Malerkotla districts will be resolved. Similarly, Ludhiana, Barnala, Ferozepur and Moga will be covered at Jagraon on December 22 while Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran and Pathankot districts will be covered at Gurdaspur on December 29.
Dhaliwal said that the department had conducted 5 successful meeting programs last year in December, 2022, during which 605 different complaints were filed by migrant Punjabis, which have been resolved. He said that apart from this, NRI Online complaints are continuously coming to the police wing, of which 15 NRIs. It is being satisfactorily resolved in a timely manner at the police stations and district administration and at the state level.
The Cabinet Minister said that PCS has been set up to resolve the complaints of migrant Punjabis in different districts. Officers of the level are serving as nodal officers who resolve the issues and complaints of the concerned with the support of the district administration. He said that the migrants are very serious in dealing with the issues of the Punjabis in the state and when any special case related to them comes up, coordination is done with the concerned Deputy Commissioner and SSP and instructions are immediately given to the concerned department in this regard. are given
