The Local Government Minister said that the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is fully standing with the people of the state in this difficult time and will leave no stone unturned in the relief work. Local Government Minister Balkar said that the Punjab government has released funds to all districts to deal with situations like floods so that there is no shortfall in relief and rescue operations. He said that there is no dearth of funds and resources to deal with this difficult time and soon we will overcome this challenge together.
He said that protecting the life and property of the people is the main priority of the Punjab government and no stone will be left unturned. He appealed to the people to stay away from rumors in this difficult time and if any mischievous element spoils the environment by spreading false rumours, then the relevant information should be immediately provided to the district administration.
