The Cabinet Minister said that an amount of 46.89 crores has been released for payment of honorarium to Anganwadi workers and helpers from November 2023 to January 2024 under the ICDS scheme. He said that under this scheme, services like supplementary nutrition, immunization, health check-up, referral services, nutrition and health education and pre-school are being provided to children aged 6 months to 6 years, pregnant women and lactating mothers. .
