Chandigarh, March 5: PTC News on Sunday received passes for entry in Vidhan Sabha for coverage. Earlier, PTC News journalists were denied permission to cover Budget Session following which the media organisation moved High Court.
Earlier on Saturday, the Punjab and Haryana High Court delivered the judgement in favour of PTC News, slamming the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led state government.
High Court, while hearing the matter, ordered the Punjab government to dispose of the issue right away.
Following that, the public prosecutor requested time until the 6th to respond after consulting with the government in order to resolve the matter as soon as possible.
However, the PTC News journalists have received their passes for entry into Vidhan Sabha.
The public prosecutor will submit in court on Monday why the passes were earlier banned.
