PSEB declared 12th result

The Punjab School Education Board has announced the results of the 12th annual examinations today on Wednesday. Like every time, this time too girls have struggled to stay on top in class 12th.

Sujan Kaur, a student of Dasmesh Convent Senior Secondary School, Sardulgarh, District Mansa, has secured the first position by securing 100 percent marks out of 500/500 in Humanities subject. The overall result of the board has been 92.47 percent.

Vice Chairman of the Board Dr. Varinder Bhatia while announcing the results of class 12 examination said that Sujan Kaur of Dasmesh Convent Secondary School Sardulgarh Mansa stood first in the state, while Shreya of Bathinda of MSD Senior Secondary Public School Bathinda stood first in the science subject. Singla has secured the second position with 498 marks out of 500, the result of which is 99.60 percent.

Similarly BMC Navpreet Kaur, a student of Senior Secondary School HM 150 Jamalpur Colony Focal Point Ludhiana has bagged the third position with 500/497 marks. His result has been 99.40 percent.

A total of 296709 students took the exam in 12th. Out of these 274378 students have passed. The overall result has been 92.47 percent. 134816 girls gave the exam. Out of these 128266 girls passed the exam. While 161889 boys appeared in the exam. Out of these 146108 boys have passed. The result of 125 students has been withheld due to some reason. 18569 students got compartments. 3637 students could not pass. Students will be able to check the result from the board’s website from Thursday morning.
