Delhi Property News: The Delhi government has extended the 20 percent tax exemption on the circle rate on land and immovable property till June 30, 2022. According to an order issued by the Revenue Department of Delhi Government, the period of 20 per cent relaxation in circle rate has been extended with immediate effect till June 30, 2022.

Revenue Minister Kailash Gehlot gave this information through a tweet through a tweet and said in it that the 20 percent reduction in circle rate will now continue till 30 June 2022. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, all Delhiites are assured that we will stand by them in their time of need. The Governor of Delhi has given his approval to the decision to extend this exemption. Kailash Gehlot has attached a copy of this order in his tweet.

what is the discount
The scheme was launched in February 2022 for Delhiites during the pandemic of Kovid-19 and was initially implemented till September 2021. In September 2021, this scheme was again extended for the common people till 31 December 2021 and now this scheme has been extended for another 6 months. Now efforts are being made to give more relief to the people by extending it till June 30, 2022.

Decision to give relief to the real estate sector- Revenue Department
Regarding this news, an official said that the decision to continue the decision of 20 percent discount in circle rate till June 30, 2022 will give relief to the real estate sector of Delhi, which has been badly affected during the Kovid period. According to the revenue department official, the property in Delhi has been divided into 8 categories, which are divided from A to H category. Category A comes under the category of least developed property. With the decision of relaxation in circle rate, there will be a good discount in circuit rate in this A category property. It will be reduced from 7.74 lakh per square meter to 6.19 square meter.
