North India Preparations are underway to transfer 10 to 12 gangsters lodged in the jails of Andaman and Nicobar. There has been a long discussion between the Home Ministry officials and the NIA officials on this issue. The NIA has asked the Home Ministry officials to transfer some select rogue prisoners to the Andaman and Nicobar Jail. Let us tell you that the punishment of imprisonment in Andaman and Nicobar is considered very severe. It was also called black water.

According to sources, the NIA wants to send those gangsters who are imprisoned in the jails of Delhi, Punjab and Haryana to Andaman jail, who are running their crime syndicates even while imprisoned in the jails here. The purpose of NIA is to break the network of these gangsters. According to the report, the NIA is also considering the option of sending some of the gangsters to Assam’s Dibrugarh Central Jail, where Waris Punjab chief Amritpal Singh and his accomplices are currently lodged. Amritpal is an accused in several cases in Punjab.

Sources in the Home Ministry said the initial proposal was to transfer the gangsters to prisons in southern India, but this would be a lengthy process as permission would have to be sought from state governments. While Andaman and Nicobar is a Union Territory and in such a situation, the Center will not have to take separate approval from anyone to shift these gangsters there. Andaman Jail is also known as Kalapani.

Gangsters are also being considered for shifting to Assam. Earlier, in a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the NIA had demanded the transfer of at least 25 gangsters from jails in northern India to southern states. According to Indian Express news, Lawrence Bishnoi, the main accused in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, is also included in this list.

In fact, there is a danger of gang warfare between gangsters in Delhi jails. Gangster Tillu Tajpuria was brutally murdered in Tihar Jail on May 2 this year. Deepak alias Tetar, Yogesh alias Tunda, Rajesh and Riaz Khan were allegedly accused of this. It was also revealed that the attackers were planning to kill Tajpuria inside the jail for the last two-three years. A CCTV video from Tihar Jail surfaced on social media, showing gangster Tillu Tajpuria being attacked in front of security personnel even as they were taking him away with a knife.

Let us tell you that a few days ago, the crime branch revealed in the court that gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Sampat Nehra are running a crime syndicate while sitting in jail. Both are recruiting young boys in jail and extorting them at gunpoint across India. They are constantly carrying out incidents.
On the other hand, Bishnoi and Nehra have revealed that the gangster Kapil alias Nandu who fled from Delhi and Anmol Bishnoi, Bishnoi’s brother sitting in London, are carrying out the incidents while sitting in America. After questioning Bishnoi and Nehra, the Delhi Police has arrested a person involved in the murder of a BJP leader in Delhi.
