The opposition parties have also started to surround the government regarding this matter. Shiromani Akali Dal’s senior leader Bikram Majithia has questioned the working style of the government. Majithia said that the government cannot hold others responsible for its weak phalses.
Majithia said in a tweet that after suspending two senior IAS officers for his decision to dissolve panchayats, CM Bhagwant Mann is now removing Vinod Ghai as AG for an advice that was never sought.
Majithia said that the file regarding dissolution of panchayats clearly shows that it was the Chief Minister’s own decision. How can he blame others for his decision? Majithia said that Bhagwant Maan ji you cannot deceive Punjabis now.
Let it be said that before this, several serious allegations were made by a woman against AG Vinod Ghai. Due to all these reasons, the Punjab government is now considering to relieve Vinod Ghai from the responsibility of AG. However, there is currently no information about who will be given the responsibility of AG in his place.
Vinod Ghai is accused of not presenting the state government’s side strongly in the court. Chief Minister Bhagwant has discussed with other ministers about replacing the AG. Recently, AG Vinod Ghai appeared weak in several cases related to the state government. The most prominent among them is the order to abolish Panchayati Raj.
