The Punjab government had decided to start the budget session on March 3, after which a letter was written to Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit to allow this budget session. The Punjab government had hoped that the approval of the budget session would be given immediately, but on the contrary, the governor has refused to give permission.
Due to which the top officials of the Punjab government are having a deep discussion with the ministers about the whole matter, to what level this matter should be taken and to what extent further action should be taken. However, the Chief Minister is not seen to comment much on this whole incident.
