These students say that they were duped by their immigration counseling agency in India, which provided them with fake documents, without their knowledge. “We are well aware of cases of international students facing expulsion orders for falsified college acceptance letters,” Trudeau said during a debate in Parliament on Wednesday. Our focus is on identifying the perpetrators of cheating students.

Responding to Sikh-origin NDP leader Jagmeet Singh’s concerns about the plight of victimized students, the prime minister said victims of cheating would get an opportunity to present their case and present evidence to support their case.
