PM Modi Mann Ki Baat Digital India: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the reach of ‘e-Sanjeevani’, an app providing online medical facilities, shows the power of digital revolution in India. He said that more than 10 crore people have taken advantage of this facility.

In the 98th episode of All India Radio’s monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’, he said that the e-Sanjeevani app has become a life-saving app for the common man, the middle class and those living in rural areas. He said, this is the power of India’s digital revolution.

Modi said that till now the number of people doing ‘teleconsultation’ using this app has crossed the figure of 10 crores. He said, this is a huge achievement. This is a living example of how the people of India have made technology a part of their lives.

He said that ‘teleconsultation’ through the e-Sanjeevani app proved to be a great boon during the Corona period. The Prime Minister also interacted with a doctor and a patient during this period. He said, for the common people of the country, for the middle class, for those living in hilly areas, e-Sanjeevani is becoming a life-saving app.

The Prime Minister also mentioned India’s digital transaction platform ‘Unified Payment Interface’ (UPI) and said that many countries of the world are attracted towards it. Referring to the recently launched digital transaction link service between India and Singapore, he said, be it India’s e-Sanjeevani app or UPI, these have proved to be very helpful in increasing the ease of living.

The Prime Minister appealed to the countrymen to contribute in making India clean and use cloth bags instead of plastic bags. He said that the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan has changed the meaning of public participation in the country. In this sequence, he discussed the cleanliness campaign of Dulhedi village of Haryana, in which the villagers formed Yuva Swachhata and Jan Sewa Samiti to make Bhiwani city an exemplary city in terms of cleanliness.

Significantly, the opposition parties often criticize the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program and allege that the Prime Minister only talks about his mind and does not listen to the public. He said, in this journey, all of you have made ‘Mann Ki Baat’ a wonderful platform for expression of public participation. He said, you know the power of your mind. Similarly, we have seen and understood in different episodes of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, how the power of the country increases with the power of the society. I have experienced and accepted them.

During this, Modi said that he had talked about promoting India’s traditional games, Indian toys in this program and people participated in it enthusiastically. He said, when I talked about promoting the traditional sports of India, immediately a wave arose in the country to join Indian sports, to enjoy them, to learn them.
