YouTube Down: Millions of users of the world were upset due to YouTube app and YouTube TV being down. However, the company claimed that the technical glitch was rectified in no time and all services are now running normally.
Alphabet’s proprietary solution company YouTube said on Monday it received complaints that thousands of users could not open the video-streaming site. After the complaint, the services of the app and YouTube TV have been restored.
Earlier outage-tracking website Downdetector showed there were more than 12,000 incidents of YouTube services outages on Monday afternoon.
DownDetector tracks outages by aggregating status reports from multiple sources, including user-submitted errors on its platform.
Shortly after this, YouTube said on its status page, ‘Good news, it has now been fixed. Now all users should be ready to access YouTube TV or YouTube main app.
Services like Google’s Gmail stopped in India too
Earlier, some services like Google’s Gmail and Workspace were stalled for some time on Monday. Many users across the world including India were unable to access these services. About 60 percent of people reported problems opening Google’s website, while 35 percent reported problems logging in to DownDetector.com, a website that tracks outages.
Some users’ accounts were temporarily unavailable and experienced a temporary error. Users took to internet media Twitter about the outage of Google services. A user posted that so google is down for everyone?
No one can access personal or workspace Gmail and use any AI device. Google services such as Gmail were slowly coming back for some users. The company is yet to comment on the reason behind the outage.
