New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese held delegation-level talks in Delhi. Meanwhile, both India and Australia are members of the Quad. I thank PM Albanese for inviting me to Australia for the Quad Leaders Summit in May. I have invited him to India for the G20 Summit in September.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi further said that I welcome the Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese to India. Last year, the two countries had decided to hold an annual summit at the level of Prime Ministers, the series being launched by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s visit.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi further said that today we discussed in detail various aspects of mutual cooperation. In the field of defence, we have signed significant agreements in the last few years, including on logistics support for each other’s armies.
