Ratnu said in a statement that the beneficiaries of this scheme in Rajasthan have linked 67 percent e-KYC and 88 percent bank accounts with Aadhaar by January 2023. He said that about 24.45 lakh beneficiaries are yet to get e-KYC done and 1.94 lakh beneficiaries are yet to link their bank accounts with Aadhaar. He told that the beneficiaries who have not yet got e-KYC done and have not linked their bank account with Aadhaar, must get it done before February 10. He said that India Post Payments Bank has been permitted by the Government of India to open e-KYC and Aadhaar linked bank accounts.
When does the money come
The government transfers the money of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi thrice a year. Its time duration is also fixed. The central government transfers the money for the first installment between April 1 and July 31. Whereas, the second installment is transferred from August 1 to November 30, and the third installment is transferred from December 1 to March 31. Till now the money of 12 installments has been transferred to the farmers’ account by the government.
The government excluded these people from the scheme
The benefit of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be given only to those farmers who have fields in their names. Earlier, those farmers who had ancestral land also got the benefit of this scheme, but now these people do not get the benefit of this scheme. According to the conditions, if the land is in the name of the father or grandfather of the farming farmer, then that person is not entitled to this scheme. Also, those farmers who do farming but do not have cultivable land in their name are also not considered eligible. Now the government is starting recovery to get back the money transferred to the accounts of these fake farmers.
These farmers are ineligible for Samman Nidhi
- Income tax payer.
- Registered Doctors, Engineers, Advocates, Chartered Accountants and Architects.
- Former or present Minister, Minister of State, Former MP, Former MLA, MLA, MP, District Panchayat President, Municipal President, Former Municipal President.
