Lance Naik Kulwant Singh, who was martyred in a terrorist attack in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, was cremated on Saturday morning. The last rites were performed with official honors at Charik Moga, the native village of the martyr. Meanwhile, slogans of Shaheed Jawan Amar Rahe kept echoing and a large number of people gathered to pay their respects.

The dead body of the martyr jawan was brought to the village with official honours. And the martyr’s parents and wife are in shock. On Thursday, 5 army personnel, including Kulwant Singh, were martyred in a terrorist attack on an army truck in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch.
The martyr’s father had also retired from the army
As soon as the news of Kulwant Singh’s martyrdom reached his home, a wave of mourning started. Shaheed has a one-and-a-half-year-old daughter and a three-month-old son. The martyr’s father, Baldev Singh, was martyred during the Kargil war. Kulwant had gone back after taking leave a month ago.
