The fellow home guard also objected
There, other Home Guard jawans who came to see off their comrades also objected that the young Gursever should have been brought in the tricolor. He said that the Home Guard jawans have not been given the status of martyr till now. Neither brought in the tricolor, it is not fair to their youth. Home Guard said we stand shoulder to shoulder with the police with body and mind. Then why is there discrimination? He said that we were told that the dead body will be brought in the tricolor. But the person whose duty was to bring it did not bring the tricolor. Strict action should be taken on this, it is an insult to the martyr.
SP’s explanation calmed down
On the other hand, SP Aastha Modi explained and said that this is not the time to do such things. Died on duty. So all protocols are being followed. A salute has been given to the jawan and on the demand of bringing the tricolor, now the tricolor has been called for. Gurugram Police has announced to pay 57 lakhs to the jawan’s family and accepted other demands along with the job.
