Guwahati: Assam Police has demanded the Supreme Court to cancel the interim bail of Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera. The police have said in the reply filed in the Supreme Court that Kheda’s custodial interrogation is necessary. Let us inform that, earlier on February 23, Kheda was arrested at the Delhi airport for his alleged remarks against Prime Minister Modi when he boarded a flight to Raipur. Same, the Supreme Court had granted interim bail to the Congress leader even before taking him to Assam.

Assam Police has said in the reply filed in the apex court that, custodial interrogation of Pawan Kheda is necessary. Only after that it will be known whose mind was behind the low-level act of deliberately mispronouncing the name of PM Narendra Modi’s father.

party people involved in this conspiracy

In the reply filed, the Assam Police has also said that, the apology on behalf of Kheda in the Supreme Court is just a sham, he has no real remorse. Khera got relief from the Supreme Court by apologizing, but his party Congress kept on deliberately writing the name of PM’s father as ‘Gautamdas’ instead of ‘Damodardas’ in his tweets and social media posts. Police said that it is clear from this that Pawan Khera’s tongue did not slip by mistake, rather his party people are partners in this conspiracy.

Interim relief to Pawan Kheda till March 17

In the reply filed in the Supreme Court, it has also been feared that behind such a personal attack on PM Modi, there could be an aim to disturb peace by spreading discontent in the country and to defame India at the international level. It is worth mentioning that due to paucity of time in the Supreme Court on Friday, the hearing on Pawan Kheda’s petition was postponed. At the same time, the court has extended his interim relief till March 17.
