Patiala: CIA staff has arrested two members of SK Kharod gang along with weapons. Confirming this, SSP Varun Sharma said that the team led by CIA in-charge Inspector Shaminder Singh arrested Gurpreet Singh alias Ladi resident of Sanur and his accomplice Amritpal Singh resident of Ranbipura village and recovered two pistols and 10 rounds.

Gurpreet Ladi was wanted in nine cases of murder, robberies in Patiala, Kurakshetra, Panchkula, Rapunagar police stations. Ladi has been convicted by the court before, who was absconding for a long time and wanted in two murder cases in Patiala. According to the SSP, Ladi SK Kharod has been close to gang members. Apart from this, Punjabi University is named in the murder case of Kabaddi promoter Bhinda.

The other accused Amritpal is also a relative of Ladi and was involved in criminal activities with him. On January 31, a young man named Deepak Mintu was killed by Ina on Sarhand Road for accepting money.
