This year Bihar Day celebrations, 2023 will be celebrated with great pomp. There will be various programs on this occasion. Its preparation has intensified from the headquarters to the district level. Like every year, this time also a grand program of Bihar Day will be organized for three days at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. During the program, people will be given free Wi-Fi service through Beltran. Apart from this, selected films will be screened for free in Patna’s cinema halls, but tickets will be available for the audience on a first-come, first-served basis. This year, the theme set for Bihar Day, 2023 is “Progress of Youth Power Bihar” in Saat Nischay Part-2.

A meeting was called by the district administration regarding Bihar Day in Patna. In the meeting, the layout plan of Gandhi Maidan, traffic management, law and order maintenance and other points for Bihar Day celebrations, 2023 were discussed in detail and necessary instructions were given. This year Bihar Day celebrations will be three-day (22-24 March, 2023).

What will be special in Patna on Bihar Day?

On the occasion of Bihar Day, all the departments of Patna are organizing programs in their own way. A cuisine fair will be organized by the tourism department at Gandhi Maidan, Patna. There will be stalls of Bihari cuisine. Stalls, startups and entrepreneurship related to Chief Minister Udyami Yojana will be displayed by the Industries Department. School children will be taken on a tour to Sudha’s plant. Blood donation camp and cancer screening camp will be organized by the health department. Products will be displayed by the Department of Livelihood and Agriculture. Sculpture and script writing competition will be organized by the Art, Culture and Youth Department. Selected films will be screened for three days free of cost to the general public.

Free tour of Patna Zoo will be done for three days

Government’s developmental and public welfare schemes will be displayed by the Information and Public Relations Department. School children will be taken on a free tour of Patna Zoo for three days by the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. People will be made aware about the efforts and standard operating procedure related to disaster management by the Disaster Management Department. State level skill competition will be organized by Labor Resources Department. Department of Science and Technology will demonstrate different types of government facilities to the students studying in IITs, NITs, Polytechnic Institutes apart from seven determination-2.

Dog show program will be organized

Latest technology solar plate, solar tree etc. will be demonstrated by Energy Department. There will be a pavilion of the Education Department and the Welfare Department, in which various schemes run by them will be displayed. Programs like police band and dog show will be organized by the Home Department. Along with this, inter-university programs will be organized at Sri Krishna Memorial Hall and Ravindra Bhavan.

On the other hand, Commissioner Kumar Ravi said that according to the standard procedure, all arrangements are being made by the district administration for organizing Bihar Day celebrations. Magistrates and police officers will be deputed. Control room and temporary police station will remain functional. Help desk will be set up. The crowd will be monitored by CCTV. Ambulance and medical team will be arranged with necessary resources. Cleaning, fogging and sprayer will be arranged by the Municipal Corporation. Adequate number of water ATMs and water tankers will be arranged by the Public Health Engineering Department. There will be arrangement of toilets. Fire brigade and fire brigade will be deployed.

Bihar Day will be broadcast live

Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department Deepak Kumar Singh told that Bihar Day celebrations will be organized in a grand and attractive manner in Patna district. All the officials are alert, ready and committed for this. An action plan has also been prepared by the Education Department to celebrate Bihar Day in a more comprehensive and grand manner. On the other hand, on this occasion, the children of the school will be taken on a tour of the museums, various historical and tourist places located in the districts. Along with this, the programs of Bihar Day will be broadcast live (webcasting) by Beltron.

District Magistrate, Patna Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna Mr. Rajeev Mishra, Civil Surgeon, Additional District Magistrate, Law and Order, Additional Municipal Commissioner and others were present in this meeting.
