An elderly NRI man died in a road accident in front of the Baba Bakala Sahib Tehsil Complex in Amritsar Rural. The deceased was born as Hardyal Singh son of Karnail Singh (85), Canada, Hal village Butala, Tehsil Baba Bakala Sahib. The deceased elderly person who was a victim of the accident had come to Punjab from Canada a few days ago.
The family members of the deceased said that the deceased Hardyal Singh son of Karnail Singh had come from the tehsil complex today for some registry work and while crossing the road outside the tehsil, he was hit by an alleged roadway bus going from Baba Bakala Sahib to Batala. He died due to coming in.
He said that after being hit by the bus, he was immediately brought to Civil Hospital Baba Bakala Sahib. Where he died in the hospital after giving first aid. He said that the Baba Bakala police were informed in this regard, who reached the spot and took action.
