Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will debate the issues of the state with the leaders of all the parties at Dr. Manmohan Singh Auditorium Hall of Punjab Agriculture University (Punjab Agriculture University) on November 1. The debate was earlier scheduled to be held at the Tagore Theater in Chandigarh, but it was canceled from there due to the SYL issue.
The Chief Minister has given an open invitation to the leaders of various political parties for a debate, so that the issues of interest of Punjab can be discussed. PAU Communications Director Dr. Tajinder Singh said that a letter has been received from the state government, asking whether you have Dr. Manmohan Singh Auditorium Hall vacant for November 1 or not.
Capacity of 1100 people in the auditorium
In response to which they have sent a reply that the auditorium is empty. A debate can be held here. He said that this auditorium has a capacity of 1100 people. PAU will only provide a space for the government to debate. The debate will be arranged by the government itself.
The opposition is dominating the issue of SYL
It is worth mentioning that the opposition parties are protesting strongly against the government these days on the issue of SYL water. Apart from the Congress, the Shiromani Akali Dal are daily protesting against the government, alleging that the Aam Aadmi Party government is adopting a double approach. She is not representing the government properly in the court. Aam Aadmi Party is doing this to gain advantage in Haryana elections. The parties say that not even a drop of Punjab’s water will be given to any other state.
