Nirmala Sitharaman has been seen promoting handloom sarees more and more. This time also she wore a handloom saree while presenting the budget.
But this time the color of her handloom saree was completely different.
Earlier she was seen wearing red, brown and yellow color sarees but this time she chose Ramar i.e. blue color.
She wore a cream color blouse with a silk handloom saree.
The sari worn by the finance minister has Kantha embroidery. Kantha is a traditional embroidery technique of West Bengal.
This silk saree had a beautiful design of petals with hand embroidery.
A special thing about this saree was that it was made of tasar silk, which is known for its unique texture and golden shine.
