Newly married bride died due to geyser gas in UP’s Meerut. The bride came to Jagriti Bihar in the medical police station area of Meerut after getting married on January 26. The bride died at home within 24 hours.
In fact, on the second day of the wedding, the bathroom in which the bride went to take a bath had a gas geyser installed. The gas geyser leaked and the bride died of suffocation. Gas geysers use LPG to heat water and release carbon monoxide which can be dangerous.
Doctors advise immediate medical attention in this case, as carbon monoxide cannot be treated with home remedies. Many such incidents have come to light in the past, in which deaths have occurred due to epileptic seizures and suffocation due to the use of gas geysers.
This is the reason why doctors advise that there should be at least one ventilated window when using gas geysers.
