Chandigarh: Former president of Punjab Pradesh Congress Navjot Singh Sidhu has returned to politics after a long time. Navjot Sidhu has today asked the Punjab government to calculate the air expenses. Along with this, Navjot Sidhu has written a letter to the Punjab Civil Aviation Department seeking information. Sidhu has also asked for the cost of helicopter and aircraft.
Navjot Singh Sidhu said that the financial burden of hiring fixed wing aircraft has to be borne by the state government. Sidhu has demanded an account of how many times the private jet has been hired by the Punjab government in the last one and a half years, where and for what purpose this aircraft has been taken. They also asked for the fare and airport information along with the total bill of fare and total fare including the aircraft.
Sidhu said that “own personal good” instead of “Sarbat’s good” is the truth of the Punjab government!!

Sidhu alleged that Delhi has nothing of its own, whatever it has goes from Punjab, even if it is a Punjab government helicopter. Sidhu said that the helicopter, which is run by the income tax of the people of the state, is being used in other states for party campaign. Giving a slogan, Sidhu said that “AAP’s Diwali is at the expense of the people of Punjab”. Sidhu said that the Aam Aadmi Party told the people during the elections that something was different and Kar has been something else.
Sidhu predicted about the debt burdened by Punjab and said that the way the government is taking loans, Punjab will become bankrupt in the near future. He said that under a plan, the Chief Minister of Punjab is engaged in holding Punjab hostage. Navjot Sidhu said that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is running the government by taking loans. He said that if this is not the case, he should give an account of the 50 thousand crore rupees spent to Punjab Governor BL Purohit.
