The long-awaited 1K/2024 announcement, which provides for the filling of 1,213 positions in the Municipal Police Corps, left yesterday for the National Printing Office. However, what is worth noting is that almost everyone can participate in the competition.
More specifically, the 1,213 positions can be claimed by University graduates as well as High School graduates, as long as they possess the formal and additional qualifications requested in the announcement.

In particular, in proclamation 1K/2024 of ASEP there are 1,213 seats which are distributed as follows:
- 208 places for University Education (PE) graduates
- 218 places for Technological Education (TE) graduates
- 787 places for Secondary Education (SE) graduates
In the announcement, as proson.gr has mentioned in many reports, there is age limit and physical criteria, while candidates will be asked to participate in a series of special examinations and tests. More specifically, only those who meet the age criteria and are in between will be able to participate of 20 and 35 years. It is worth noting that the age is measured based on the date of birth of each candidate and not the exact date. This practically means that they will be able to declare their participation in the announcement of the Municipal Police those born between January 1, 1989 and December 31, 2005.
Candidates for municipal police should also be at least tall 1.63 m for women and 1.70 m for men and have the mental and physical health, as well as the mental qualifications that enable them to perform the duties of their position. Candidates deemed suitable sanitary are subjected to sports tests. Candidates who succeed in the sports tests are submitted to psychotechnical tests and interview, in order to investigate in particular judgment, perception, adaptability to changing situations and demands, degree of readiness, self-control, emotional stability, and personality structure.
