Delta S.A. is a Greek dairy company founded in Athens in 1952 by Aristidis Daskalopoulos, founded in 1952 in Exarchia , corner of Didotou and Zoodochos Pigis. Initially, it operated as a family laboratory for the production of yogurt and the distribution of bulk milk. In 1965 he was transferred to Tavros. In the following years, Delta also dealt with other types of products, such as ice cream, fruit juice, cheese and others.
In 2000 , it was renamed Delta Standard Dairy Industry SA. and in 2006 it was absorbed by Vivartia SA. In 2010 it reappeared as Delta Foods SA, a subsidiary of Vivartia SA.
Today , Delta is one of the largest food companies in Greece, while it is also developing abroad. Its head office has been moved to the Agios Stefanos factory (formerly Boyati) and is at the 23rd km of the Athens – Lamia National Road, in Agios Stefanos, Attica.
