In such a situation, on Saturday in Ajnala constituency of Amritsar, Youth Congress leader Cover Pratap Singh Ajnala, son of MP Gurjit Singh Aujla and former MLA Harpratap Singh Ajnala, inspected different villages to check the crops damaged by unseasonal rain. Meanwhile, the farmers were discussed with the farmers about the loss of the crops.

Meanwhile, the MP appealed to the Punjab government to release the due compensation amount to the farmers for their crops as soon as possible. On this occasion, MP Gurjit Singh Aujla from Amritsar said that they are taking stock of the damaged crops of the farmers in different villages and about 50 to 60% of the farmers have been damaged and the farmers had a lot of hope from their crops due to which they had to fulfill the needs of their households and the farmers have suffered huge losses due to this damaged crop.

He said that the farmers should be compensated at least 30 thousand rupees and the compensation which Punjab government has released is 11 crore 50 lakh rupees. Koja has joked with the farmers. He said that Bhagwant Maan should come to the people and see what is going on. The condition of the people is bad and they should come forward to help the people.

He said that the government has taken votes from the people by making false promises to the people as a revenge and it is an inexperienced government. They condemn the way in which compensation has been given to the farmers and the government should release 30 thousand rupees as compensation to the farmers as soon as possible.
