Punjabi Youth Fails in Punjabi Language: The youth of Punjab are now lagging behind in learning their mother tongue instead of English. Due to this, his career is also affected. The latest case is related to the recruitment of inspectors in the Excise and Taxation Department. Therefore, 38 percent of the youth have failed in the Punjabi language exam.

Let us tell you that to get a job, the condition of passing with 50 percent marks in Punjabi is mandatory by the Punjab government. But the youth who came for the job in the tax and excise department have not been able to score up to 50 percent marks. However, experts believe that the youth themselves are responsible for this because they do not understand the importance of language.

Let it be known that the Subordinate Services Selection Board conducted the written examination of inspectors some time ago. A total of 36836 applicants appeared in it. Out of these 22,957 examinees could pass. 13879 applicants could not clear the Punjabi exam. 37.67 percent failed in the exam. In such a situation, these young people were out of the job race.

The surprising thing is that if the sources are to be believed, 46 percent of the applicants are those who have scored only 1 to 10 marks instead of 25 marks. Similarly, 3678 applicants have managed to score only 11 to 20 percent marks. 10152 applicants have managed to score 20 to 25 marks. There are 19,457 girls among those taking the exam.
