According to the information received, this case was registered by the Barandri police station on 9 May 2017. In the registered case, it is said that MLA Sheetal Angural along with 15-20 of his colleagues had reached the public gate to submit an application to the Police Commissioner Jalandhar, due to which the people had to face a lot of problems.

The police had then alleged that only seven-eight people were allowed inside to register a complaint. But, they all wanted to go in, due to which they staged a dharna outside the gate. A case was registered against him in this regard.
