Maruti Ignis Price Hike: Maruti Suzuki India has increased the price of its premium compact car Ignis by Rs 27,000 thousand (Delhi showroom). The company has also added new features to the car.

The country’s largest carmaker told the stock market that all variants of this model will now also feature ‘Electronic Stability Program’ (ESP) and ‘Hill Hold Assist’ as a standard feature. This will provide additional protection to the consumers.

Talking about the engine and power of Ignis, it has a 1.2-liter BS6 petrol engine, which generates power of 81.80 hp at 6000 rpm and torque of 113 Nm. For transmission, this car has been given in the option of manual and auto gear shift transmission and it can give a mileage of 20.89 km per liter.

The company said that the Ignis also complies with the upcoming E20 and Real Driving Emission (RDE) norms. The company said in a statement that the new prices have come into immediate effect. (with language input)
