WhatsApp released two notification features for iOS beta users

WhatsApp has introduced two new features related to notifications for iOS beta users, the information of which has been revealed in the latest report. The first feature shows the profile picture in the system notification and the second feature provides the information in the notification that someone in the group has given you through Mansion and Reply. Both the features are being rolled out through separate updates. Recently, information was received about WhatsApp that it is going to bring a redesigned interface in the Contact Info page in Work.

In the 2.22.1.1 beta update, WhatsApp has added support for profile photos in notifications. In such a situation, whenever users will receive messages through a personal chat or group, they will be able to see the profile photo of the sender in the notification. At the moment, this feature is limited to a few people, but as soon as it is ensured that there are no bugs in the new feature, it will be rolled out to everyone soon.

Talking about the second beta update, in this, if someone in a group replies to a message to the user or mantions the user for a message, then WhatsApp has provided that information in the notification. One thing to note here is that this feature is limited to group chats only, it will not be used in individual chats. WABetaInfo has shared a screenshot of both these features working on iOS devices.
