Punjab Police has once again made major changes in the Special Task Force (STF). It is being told that one IPS and three PPS officers have been given additional charge. These officers will also hold charge of STF along with their posts. These officials have been asked to take over this charge as soon as possible.
According to information, these orders have been issued by DGP Punjab. According to his order, IPS Pradeep Kumar Yadav, who was holding the charge of IG Technical Support Service Punjab till now, will now also oversee the entire STF Ferozepur and Bathinda ranges. Let us tell that Pradeep Kumar is already taking charge of IG Faridkot range.
PRTC Jahan Kalan commandant PPS Harpreet Singh has now been given additional charge of STF Jalandhar. Along with this, AIG Snehdeep Sharma of STF Ludhiana Range has now been given additional charge of STF Border Range Amritsar. While Gurpreet Singh, who is looking after the charge of AIG STF Range Patiala, has also been given additional charge of STF Range Ferozepur.
