Bhushan Desai joins Shiv Sena, Eknath Shinde

Mumbai. The Uddhav Thackeray group has suffered another major setback in Maharashtra. Bhushan Desai, a close aide of Uddhav and son of former Industries Minister Subhash Desai, has joined the Shiv Sena i.e. Shinde faction. He has joined the party in the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. During this, Shinde claimed that seeing his role and the work of the government, many people are joining the party.

CM Shinde targeted Uddhav Thackeray during the press conference in Mumbai. He said, “He (Uddhav Thackeray) had power in Mumbai for many years but he could not do anything. We are following the thoughts of Balasaheb. Bhushan Desai was impressed by the work we were doing. After this he expressed his desire to work in the party. Chief Minister Shinde said that Bhushan has decided to stay with the working people.

Whereas, Bhushan Desai said, “Balasaheb is my God. Eknath Shinde is working for the development of Maharashtra and furthering the thoughts of Balasaheb. I have seen his work. I also know the way they work. So decided to work with him.”

Bhushan clarified that he had already informed his father Subhash Desai about his decision. He said that my father might have a political role. However, I may have a different political stance of my own.
