The Enforcement Directorate raided the house and offices of Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh. Apart from Mohali, ED teams have been deployed simultaneously at 12 places in Punjab and Rajasthan. The authorities have not yet confirmed the case in which the raid was conducted. According to the information received from the sources, this raid is being conducted in the matter of Delhi’s liquor policy. In which his involvement with liquor contractors is suspected.
In Mohali where documents are being searched in the house and office of MLA Kulwant Singh. Along with this, ED teams have also reached the MLA’s partnership firm located at Ranjit Avenue in Amritsar. It is being told that along with Mohali, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, along with Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan, the search is on in the entire Punjab. Meanwhile, Mohali’s big CA is also on the ED’s radar.
Former Akali Minister Bikram Majithia tweeted that Kulwant Singh has been raided in connection with the liquor scam in Delhi and Punjab. After summoning Arvind Kejriwal, the ED has started probing the Punjab link of the liquor scam. He said that this action is necessary to expose the scam of Rs 550 crore in the Punjab excise policy. In which the main accused are Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and Excise Minister Harpal Cheema. Aam Aadmi Party has benefited from this scam.

Recently, Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit had questioned MLA Kulwant Singh on two projects of JLPL. He had written a letter to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann seeking a reply in this regard. He had alleged that his own MLAs are doing real estate business by violating the rules.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has already been arrested in the case of Delhi’s liquor policy. His bail application was rejected by the Supreme Court yesterday.
