Patna: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav was to appear before the CBI today but he will not appear before the CBI due to his wife’s health deteriorating. According to the information, Tejashwi Yadav will not appear before the CBI due to the health of his wife. He was admitted to a private hospital in Delhi yesterday after the ED raid. She is pregnant and after twelve hours of questioning she faints due to BP problem.

According to the information, the CBI had summoned Bihar’s deputy CM and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav in the land-for-job case on March 11, i.e. today. This is the second summons issued to him, the first one was issued on February 4.

Last Friday, raids were conducted in around 15 locations in the capital Delhi in connection with a land scam involving Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. It may be noted that a few days back former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad and his wife Rabri Devi were once again questioned in this matter.

Significantly, this whole case is related to giving land as a gift to Lalu Prasad’s family or allegedly giving jobs to people in the railways in lieu of selling the land. The matter pertains to Prasad’s tenure as Railway Minister from 2004 to 2009. Now in this matter, on Tuesday, former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad was questioned for about two hours. A day before this, the CBI had questioned Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Lalu Prasad’s wife and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi at her Patna residence for about five hours.
