Bureau report : The four lane from Kiratpur to Nerchowk in Himachal will start on Sunday. NHAI has given green signal to start it. Trains will start running at 8 am on Sunday morning. Trains will run at a speed of 60 km per hour till Nechchowk of Kiratpur. If you drive at a higher speed than this, automatic challan will be done with CCTV cameras at various places on the forelane. With the opening of this forelane, the local people will get a big relief.
37KM distance will be less
A distance of 115 km has to be covered to reach Nerchowk from Kiratpur. But now with the construction of the Forlane, this distance will be reduced by 37 km. It will take less than 1.5 to 2 hours from Kiratpur to Nerchowk after the start of the forlane. It is to be noted that the Forlane, built at a cost of 4200 crores, was opened in the month of May. But due to the rain, the highway suffered a lot of damage. Seeing this, NHAI closed the four lane from Kiratpur to Norchowk.
They will have to pay toll
The car will have to pay 150 rupees for one side and 230 rupees for both sides. Tempo, pickup vehicles will have to pay Rs 245 for one side and Rs 370 for both sides. While for one side of the bus it will cost Rs 515 and for both sides Rs 770. A truck with 8 tires will have to pay Rs 560 for one side and Rs 840 for both sides.
