Today the Supreme Court announced a historic decision. BJP had 16 votes and India alliance had 20 votes but returning officer Anil Sameh wrongly rejected our 8 votes but Supreme Court's decision is the decision to save democracy today.
The Supreme Court bench said that the petitioner had got 12 votes. 8 votes were wrongly declared invalid. Later, 8 votes were cast in favor of the petitioner. Thus, adding 8 votes, the petitioner has 20 votes. Therefore, Kuldeep Kumar is elected as the Mayor of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation.

The Supreme Court has issued a defamation notice to Anil Masih, who was the returning officer in the Chandigarh Mayoral elections. The misrepresentation of Christ in court is wrong for two reasons. First he influenced the elections in a wrong way. Second, he lied in court. The court has asked him to reply within three weeks.
