Two sons killed their father in Jhalur village of Barnala. The father used to stop his boys from taking drugs, and the two boys got angry and killed the father by hitting them with a machete and an ax. The police have registered a case of murder against both the boys and arrested one.

SHO of Sadar Barnala Police Station Karan Sharma said that a case of domestic war had come to light in village Jhalur. He got the information about the incident from the Civil Hospital last night. This quarrel took place between the son and two boys and all three were injured. He was admitted to Government Hospital Barnala. In the fight, both the sons killed the 65-year-old father Ram Singh.

He told that Ram Singh used to stop his two boys from taking drugs. Both the accused used to abuse and beat up their father. According to the statement of Kuldeep Kaur, daughter of the deceased, she had come to her father’s house. Meanwhile, the boys attacked their father with a machete and seriously injured him.

He died in Government Hospital Barnala. He said that the statement of Kuldeep Kaur, the daughter of the deceased, should be recorded. A case of murder has been registered against the two accused, Gurpreet Singh and Amar Singh. Gurpreet Singh has been arrested in the case while Amar Singh himself is admitted to the government hospital due to injuries. He will be arrested as soon as he is discharged from the hospital.
