New Delhi. On the other hand, a fierce dispute has erupted between the Assam government and the opposition parties of Maharashtra (Assam-Maharashtra) regarding the country’s sixth Jyotirlinga Bhimashankar. At the same time, the Assam government issued an advertisement on February 14, asking devotees and tourists to come to Assam on the festival of Mahashivaratri. It is written in the advertisement – The country’s sixth Jyotirlinga is located in the Dakini Hills (Dakini mountain range) in Kamrup, Assam.

At the same time, Maharashtra’s NCP and Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena have fiercely targeted the BJP regarding this advertisement. Both these parties said – Everyone knows that the sixth Jyotirlinga Bhimashankar temple is in Pune, Maharashtra, then why is the Assam government issuing such a misleading advertisement?

On the other hand, the All India Teerth Purohit Mahasabha clearly said on Wednesday that the state government’s claim related to Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga being in Assam is an attempt to distort religious history. All India Teerth Purohit Mahasabha president Mahesh Pathak told reporters in Mathura that the Assam government gave full-page advertisements in newspapers describing Bhimashankar located in the state as one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in the country. He said that through the advertisement, a call has also been given to visit Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga in Assam on the occasion of Mahashivratri.

On the other hand, in this matter, NCP and Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena said – till now BJP was snatching industry and employment from Maharashtra. But now they are preparing to steal our cultural and spiritual heritage as well. In such a situation, the clear indication of the parties was about the 22 thousand crore Tata-Airbus C-295 transport aircraft project and the 1.63 lakh crore Vedanta Foxconn project, which was shifted from Maharashtra to Gujarat last year.

On the other hand, Congress leader Sachin Sawant lodged an objection and said that leave alone industries, BJP now wants to snatch Lord Shiva from Maharashtra. The BJP government of Assam has declared the country’s sixth Jyotirlinga located in Pune as Assam. In such a situation, we demand that the Shinde-Fadnavis government should present its stand in this matter and condemn this action of the BJP government which has hurt the sentiments of 12 crore people of Maharashtra and all the countrymen.
