Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will fly to San Francisco today to attend the APEC summit in a new Airbus.

Ottawa (Punjabi Newspaper Bureau) Canadian Prime Minister Justin has got a new ship. So he will travel in the new Airbus A330 today, Wednesday 15 November 2023, on his way to San Francisco to attend the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit. The significance of this day is that it will be the first inaugural flight of this new government Airbus.
The A330 Airbus is one of the nine aircraft selected to replace Canada’s aging Polaris fleet. The aging Polaris fleet has been giving Trudeau travel headaches for years and a recent example of this was seen at the G20 summit in India when the Canadian Prime Minister’s plane en route from New Delhi to Canada. The timing was bad and Mr. Trudeau had to stay in Delhi and wait for his next flight.

At least one of these aircraft will be used to transport VIPs while the others will be used for military transport and air-to-air refueling of NATO aircraft.
