Reliance Jio 5G in India: 5G era has started in India and telecom companies like Jio Airtel are connecting every corner of the country with new age connectivity. Meanwhile, India’s largest telecom company Reliance Jio is expected to become the world’s largest company with a pure 5G network this year. Giving this information, a senior company official promised to provide services to the people at affordable rates. Reliance Jio President Mathew Oommen said at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) that India needs inclusive growth and Jio will continue to support it.
Oommen said, Jio will be the world’s largest single 5G network operator in the second half of 2023. The company will ensure that all advanced services and capabilities are affordable to the public. He was replying to questions related to the company’s plan to launch 5G service and Jio’s rival Bharti Airtel increasing the price of mobile calls and data services.
Jio has focused on implementing 5G on a standalone basis, while Bharti Airtel is implementing the network on a non-standalone basis. This is a mixed form of 5G and 4G services. Oommen said, India needs inclusive growth. Jio will continue to support India’s inclusive growth. (with language input)
