Due to this statement of Jathedar Sahib, DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav also met with Jathedar Sahib 2 days ago. He had said that we have made arrangements keeping in mind the safety of the Sangat. The DGP had appealed that no person should use the religious place for his own benefit. Meanwhile, during the Baisakhi message, Jathedar Harpreet Singh has also made another special appeal.
Jathedar Shri Akal Takht Giani Harpreet Singh said that there is an atmosphere of chaos among the Sikhs because they have broken from the principle. He urged the Sikhs to connect with Sri Guru Granth Sahib, he said that the events have started from April 10, religious programs are being held from 7 pm to 10 pm. On April 13, 14 and 15, Amritpan programs will be conducted in Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, the Sangats will reach maximum number and become Guru Wala.
