Jalandhar LoCongress has released the list of star campaigners for the Assembly by-elections. The list of star campaigners includes the names of 40 other leaders including former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and Navjot Singh Sidhu.
The names of many other leaders including Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Pratap Singh Bajwa, Manish Tiwari are also included in this list.
Congress Punjab unit president Amarinder Singh Raja Waring has started campaigning for party candidate Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary in different parts of Jalandhar. He appealed to the voters to give a befitting reply to the ruling Aam Aadmi Party.
It should be said that Congress MP Santokh Singh Chaudhary passed away during Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Joko Yatra in January this year. From which by-elections are being held for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha constituency. Congress has fielded Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary, wife of late Santokh Chaudhary, as its candidate.
