Indian wrestler Ravi Dahiya’s feat at Tokyo Olympics, another medal to reach final


Indian wrestler Ravi Dahiya advanced to the final of the Tokyo Olympics after defeating Kazakhstan’s Sanayev Nurislam in the men’s 57kg semifinals here on Wednesday.

He has at least secured a silver medal for the country. Ravi Dahiya performed brilliantly and defeated the opposing wrestler. After the victory of Ravi Kumar Dahiya, all his family members and villagers in Sonipat, Haryana celebrated. At present there is a festive atmosphere in the village and people are congratulating the family members of Ravi Dahiya.

Ravi defeated Sanayev 7-9 in the semifinal match. Ravi was trailing 7-9 but Sanayev could not continue the match due to injury and thus Indian wrestler Ravi made it to the final. With this, Ravi has secured the fourth medal of the country in the Tokyo Olympics. However, Ravi’s focus will be on winning the gold medal.
