A homeless drug addict brutally murdered a 25-year-old Indian student in Georgia's Lithonia city in America. The drug addict hit him on the head about 50 times with a hammer, due to which he died. The Consulate General of India in Atlanta has strongly condemned this incident. The heartbreaking incident was caught on camera, in which the assailant, Julian Faulkner, is seen brutally hitting Indian MBA student Vivek Saini on the head 50 times with a hammer.
“We are deeply saddened by the horrific, cruel and heinous incident that resulted in the death of Indian student Vivek Saini and strongly condemn the attack,” the Indian embassy said in a post on Twitter on Monday. There is information that the American authorities have arrested the accused and are investigating the matter.
He said that the embassy contacted Saini's family immediately after the incident and all possible help is being given to send the body to India. According to media reports on Sunday, Saini worked as a part-time clerk at the store where Faulkner had taken refuge.
According to the report, Saini helped Faulkner by giving him chips, coke, water and a jacket to protect him from the cold, but later asked Faulkner to leave due to safety concerns. Saini told Faulkner that if he did not leave, he would call the police. Saini was on his way home on January 16 when Faulkner attacked him. On the spot, the police saw Faulkner standing over Saini's body. Saini, who came to the US two years ago after completing his B.Tech, recently earned a master's degree in business administration. After this brutal incident, Saini's family living in Haryana is in mourning. His father Gurjit Singh and mother Lalita Saini are not in a position to talk to anyone about this incident.

He was scheduled to return home on January 26 during a holiday in India. His friend working with Vivek Saini in America said that the accused used to take free food and drink from Vivek for three to four days. After giving free goods for one day, he came every day to collect the same free goods, but on 14th January, Vivek Saini refused to give free goods to the criminal. Due to this, the homeless criminal, about 25 years old, attacked Vivek Saini with a hammer and continued to hit him on the head with a murder plan.
