Holidays have been increased in schools in Punjab. These holidays have been taken due to flooding of schools due to rain. This decision has been taken for the safety of children. Honorable Chief Minister Punjab As per the instructions of Bhagwant Maan ji, due to rain due to safety, Punjab Government extends the holidays in all Government/Aided/Recognised and Private schools of the state till 16th July 2023. Let us tell you that earlier these holidays were till July 13 and schools were supposed to open on July 14, but now due to deteriorating conditions, these holidays have been extended.
Schools will open as normal from July 17 (Monday).
