Mohali: 3 youths from Handesara village of Lalru died after being hit by a private bus. At present, the police have taken possession of the bodies of the deceased and kept them in the mortuary and have started the investigation of the matter. The deceased have been identified as Rehan, Gagandeep and Salman, residents of village Satarpur, Laldu. The age of the three deceased is said to be less than 20 years.
According to information, a private bus of Haryana was going from Ambala to Narayangarh around 2:30 pm on Sunday afternoon. On the way, this bus hit 3 youths who were planting vegetables on Jugadu road.
Eyewitnesses said that the bus driver rammed the bus on three youths riding the train. In which Rehan and Salman died on the spot, while Gagandeep was taken to Ambala Hospital for treatment but he also died during treatment.
On the other hand, after receiving information about the accident, A. S. came Jatinder Singh reached the place of the incident and immediately kept the dead bodies in the mortuary of Derabassi Hospital. Currently, the driver of the bus is said to be absconding from the spot. S. H. oh Gurbir Singh said that further action will be taken after recording the statements of the family members.
