A case of miscreants robbing a bike-riding farmer of cash worth 2.30 lakhs has come to light in Moga, Punjab. According to information, 6 masked miscreants first stopped the farmer and attacked him. After that they escaped with cash from him. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the victim and started the investigation.

According to information, Beant Singh, a resident of village Sada Singh, sold his tractor for Rs 3 lakh to a person from village Piruwala of Ferozepur on March 8. An amount of Rs 50,000 was received on that day, while Rs 2.5 lakh was outstanding. On Sunday, he was returning from Piruwala on his motorcycle with the tractor dues. He had Rs.2.30 lakh. While 20 thousand rupees were transferred to his account.

The complainant said that when he was coming on the link road between village Daulatpura and village Maheshwari Sandhuan. Meanwhile, on the way, six masked miscreants on two bikes blocked his way on the deserted road and attacked him on the head with a baseball bat. Due to which he got injured and the miscreants took away his coat containing 2.30 lakh cash and escaped.

Regarding this case, the victim Beant Singh filed a complaint with the Sadar police station. The police have registered a case against the unidentified robbers based on the victim’s statement. Along with this, the police have started searching for the miscreants.
