Bathinda Three members of a sleeping family died painfully when the roof of a house collapsed in Dhade, a village near Maur Mandi. In this accident, the elderly, his daughter and the couple died. Unfortunately, the girl had come with her 5-year-old son to attend the wedding ceremony.
After the marriage ceremony in Khayala village, the girl stayed with her son at her parents’ house. The family members were sleeping when suddenly the roof of the house collapsed, but no one came to know about this incident. When no one picked up the phone, he broke the door of the house and saw that the roof of the house had collapsed. All the three bodies buried under the debris were pulled out. All the three injured were immediately rushed to the hospital where the doctors declared them dead.
Meanwhile, police of Balianwali police station reached the spot after finding out about this incident, after which further action has been started. Shinderpal Kaur (65) lived alone in that house and her daughter Manjit Kaur (30) had come from her in-law’s village Ratia to her mother. Manjit Kaur’s 5-year-old son Prabhjot Singh also came with her.
The three died last night due to the collapse of the roof. Meanwhile, police of Balianwali police station reached the spot after finding out about this incident today and further action has been started by them. The villagers have demanded compensation for the family.
