The Indian Railways has issued a cancellation notice for more than 300 trains on Saturday. Such a step has been taken due to the G-20 summit to be held in Delhi on September 9 and 10. Railways has released the list of canceled and diverted trains. According to an official notification, more than 300 trains will be affected and more than 200 will be cancelled.
Keeping in mind the G-20 Summit in Delhi, the Railways has made a train handling plan. Passengers are advised to plan their journey keeping in mind the dates and trains given in the list. Northern Railway has given this information on social media platform X.
Jalandhar Route Amritsar-New Delhi Express (Train No. 12459-60), New Delhi-Jalandhar City Express (14681-82), Intercity Express (14315-16), Sarbat Da Bhala Express (22480), Delhi-Pathankot Express (22429) ) from 9 to 10 September, Delhi Inter City Express (14324) from 8 to 10 September and Pathankot-Delhi Superfast (22430) from 10 September have been cancelled.
Similarly, Jammu Tawi-Tirupati Humsafar Express (22706), Jammu-Aligarh Express (12414), Amritsar-New Delhi Shatabdi Express (12014), Shan-e-Punjab Express (12498), Swaran Shatabdi Express (12030), Amritsar Gharibath (12204) ). ), New Delhi Jan Shatabdi Express (12058), Amritsar Nad Sachkhand Express (12716), Amritsar-Sealdah Jallianwala Bagh Express (12380), Sri Mata Jammu Tawi Jamnagar Express (12478), Jhelum Express (11078), Amritsar Visakhapatnam Superfast (2088 ) ) etc. will be stopped at the transfer station in New Delhi.
India is all set to host the G20 summit in Delhi, which aims to bring together the guest countries as well as the G20 member countries to participate in discussions on various economic reforms. Heads of many countries are expected to participate in this program.
Last month, the Delhi Police had issued an advisory for the general public traveling to Delhi and those in the vicinity of the National Capital Region ahead of the event. Accordingly, this ban will continue from the midnight of September 7 to the midnight of September 10.
